Visa Options

Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) Visa (Subclass 482)

Short-Term Stream:

For occupations on the Short-Term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL).
Valid for up to two years (or four years if an international trade obligation applies).
Renewable once onshore.

Medium-Term Stream:

For occupations on the Medium and Long-Term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL).
Valid for up to four years.
Provides a pathway to permanent residency.

Labour Agreement Stream:

For employers who have entered into a labour agreement with the Australian government.
Tailored to specific industries or regional needs.

Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) Visa (Subclass 186)

Direct Entry Stream:

For applicants who have not worked in Australia or have worked in Australia for a short period.
Requires a skills assessment and at least three years of relevant work experience.

Temporary Residence Transition Stream:

For TSS visa holders who have worked for their employer for at least three years.
Provides a direct pathway to permanent residency.

Labour Agreement Stream:

For employers with a labour agreement.

Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) Visa (Subclass 494)

Employer-Sponsored Stream:

For skilled workers nominated by an employer in regional Australia.

Temporary Activity Visa (Subclass 408)
